Annual General Meeting ReportThe Annual General Meeting of The Club was held in Germaine’s in Baltinglass on Tuesday April 5th. A successful year was reviewed and the club reported a doubling in membership since its founding meeting only a year ago. Some of the highlights of the year were the foundation of the Club followed by the official launch in May and the clubs participation in the running of two of the stages of last year’s Gordon Bennett Rally. We also had a very successful Charity Classic Car and Motorcycle run which raised over €1200 for the Baltinglass Day-care Centre. Other notable events of the past year were the club run to Castledermot Vintage Day, as well as numerous informal club runs and participation in many local events. Financial report: The financial report showed that the club is on a sound financial footing with a small surplus after the running costs for the year were taken care of.
